Bagheera is an upcoming movie by one of the most successful production houses, Hombale Films. The production house has teamed up with the director Prashanth Neel once again.
Prashanth has directed the KGF film series which is produced by Hombale film, he has written the story for Bagheera while it is directed by Dr Suri. The film stars Kannada star Srii Murali and is produced by Vijay Kiragandur.
Bagheera Production & First Look Poster
Bagheera went on floors in May 2022 with the film’s Muhurat taking place in Bengaluru. The film was announced in Dec 2020 with the release of the first look poster of the film featuring Srii Murali in an angry avatar.
Makers launched a close to 1 min video titled Glimpse of Bagheera on May 2022 announcing that the shoot begins in the last week of May.
The next leg of the shooting began in Oct 2022 in Manguluru.
Bagheera Star Cast
As per the media reports, Rukmini Vasanth has been cast to play the role of the leading lady in the film. She had made her silver screen debut with MG Srinivas’s Birbal-Finding Vajramuni. It was recently reported that the Kantara fame Naveen Bondel is roped in by Hombale Films for Bagheera. Much of the star cast is still under wraps.
As per the reports, Prashant was expected to direct Bagheera but with the latter’s schedule being full with films like Salaar, KGF-3, and an untitled film with NTR Jr. It became impossible for the filmmaker to direct Bagheera, that’ why Dr Suri stepped in to handle the responsibility.
Bagheera Release Date
Bagheera will be released pan-India in Kannada and the dubbed versions of Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil. The film is expected to release in the second half of 2023.
The story is written by Prashanth Neel, and it is directed by Dr Suri. The director of the photographer is AJ Shetty with Ajaneesh Loknath music. Hombale Films are currently basking in the success of Kantara. The production house is enjoying a golden run at the box office with over 2000 crore coming in from their last 3 projects itself.
