Bai Ji Kuttange is Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu’s debut film in Punjabi Film Industry. In Aug 2022, Upasana who is producer of punjabi film, claimed that Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu breached the contract.
However, film was released in theatres on 19th of Aug 2022, received positive reviews, and now streaming on OTT Platform.

Why Upasana Singh Sued Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu?
Upasana Singh filed a civil suit against Harnaaz in the Chandigarh district court, against alleged breach of contract of the film ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’ in which Harnaaz played the lead role.
According to Upasana Singh, Harnaaz has signed a contract with Santosh Entertainment Studio LLP that she will be present in-person and virtually for the promotions of the film, but Harnaaz has refused to do that.
Upasana’s Statement
Actress Upasana Singh said she gave Harnaaz a chance at that time when she was not Miss Universe, Upasana said she spent a huge sum on this movie. It is not a small-budget movie,” stated Upasana. She also claimed that she postponed the film’s release date from May 27 to August 19.
Upasana also said she gave Harnaaz a chance to act in the movie ‘Bai ji Kuttange’ and not only this, but she also made ‘Yaara Diyan Poo Baran’ in which Harnaaz is the heroine as well.
Harnaaz Kaur’s reaction on this Statement
Till now Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu has not given any statement regarding the allegations made by Actress Upasana Singh and currently Harnaaz is in New York on her Miss Universe tour.
