Thalapathy 65 has minted Rs 70.55 Cr in three days from the home market, it collected Rs 11.55 Cr from the AP/TG states, Rs 11.15 Cr from the Karnataka, in three days Beast churned out Rs 8.80 Cr from Kerala and collected Rs 39 Cr from the overseas market, taking the total collection of three days to Rs 143.90 Cr.
Now, Thalapthy starrer failed to attract the footfalls on Saturday too, the fact is action comedy film needs to cross over Rs 240 Cr which is still far behind and seems might not touch the breakeven point either. The extended five-day opening weekend strategy has fallen flat.
Beast collected around Rs 10-12 Cr from the home market on Day 4, and around Rs 18-20 Cr at the box office worldwide taking the total figures to over Rs 155 Cr.
