Kollywood’s highly buzzed film Beast starring Thalapathy Vijay releases on 13 April 2022 and within a few hours, the film has been leaked online on the notorious piracy sites.
The action-comedy flick is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under his own banner Sun Pictures. Vijay is essaying a spy role in the film.
Nelson’s directorial had created a sky-high buzz ahead of its release and was on the top list of the IMDb’s highly anticipated film of the year. Conversely, the film received mostly negative reviews from the critics, they severely bashed the film for the poor script, screenplay, and the climax.
Not only this even Vijay’s ardent fans seem not happy with the film. The fans after watching early shows took to Twitter and share their reviews on the same, they bashed Nelson’s direction calling it he didn’t use the full potential of the actor in the flick, however, Anirudh Ravichander’s music and the performance of Vijay are being praised by critics and moviegoers.
Amid the negative reviews where many trade analysts already declared the film a flop, the shocking news is that the film has been leaked online on piracy sites like tamilrockers, movierulez, vidmate, etc.
As per the reports, the Tamil version of the film has been leaked after an early morning show on these notorious sites. Vijay starrer seems in trouble now, as the film already received negative reviews and on top of it, now leaked online on notorious piracy sites, that too in the original version.
The film is being screened in over 800 theatres and is expected to earn the most from the home market Tamil Nadu but amid the news of the leaked Tamil version, it can decrease the footfalls on the ticket counters in further days, as the film is already getting negative reviews which can result in low box office collection.
This is not the first time that a south Indian film is being leaked on these notorious sites, earlier films like Pushpa, Valimai, Marakkar, Bheemla Nayak, and recently RRR too leaked on the piracy sites like tamilrockers.
However, we will request to the viewers that don’t fall prey to these notorious sites, as watching films from a third-party platform is illegal.
