Best Bollywood Movies 2021: The year is almost coming to an end, fewer movies are releasing in theaters, and many long-time pending movies are choosing over the top platforms. Here we are bringing you the list of content-oriented films, you can’t miss them.

Recently, Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi did good business at the Indian Box Office, the power stars’ pair, and Rohit Shetty’s way of making a film with regular masala stories, worked. 1- Shershaah
Sidharth Malhotra starrer Shershah is a biographical war film based on (PVC) Param Vir Chakra awardee (India’s highest military decoration) late Captain Vikram Batra. It explores the story of Captain Batra’s first posting in the army to his demise in the Kargil War of 1999 with Pakistan.
The IMDb rating of this war movie is 8.7 out of 10. Apart from Siddharth who is portraying Captain Batra’s role, Kiara Advani is playing his fiance namely Dimple Cheema. It is available on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
2- Atrangi Re
Atrangi Re has emerged as one of the most loved films of recent time, the makers didn’t make its theatrical release but it’s breaking records on OTT, Disney Plus Hotstar. Akshay Kumar’s cameo and Dhanush-Sara’s act made this much in talks, critics also showered love on this film directed by Anand L. Rai, the IMDb rating is 7.2 released on the occasion of Merry Christmas (24 Dec 2021).
3- Dhamaka
On the 2nd spot, we have a recent release action thriller Dhamaka, Directed by Neerja (2016) fame Ram Madhvani. It features Kartik Aryan as a news reporter from Bharosa 24/7, He started getting death threats after interviewing a notorious terrorist.
Mrunal Thakur is playing the main lead actress opposite Kartik. It is available on the giant streaming platform Netflix. Kartik’s performance received appreciation from the critics. The IMDb rating of this thriller is 7.9/10.
4- Sardar Udham
It is a historical drama based on the life of Indian freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh who took revenge for the horrific Jalianwala bagh massacre of 1919 by assassinating then Lt. Gen of Punjab namely Michael O’Dwyer.
It is available on the OTT platform Amazon Prime. The IMDb rating of this critically acclaimed biographical drama is 8.9 out of 10. It is helmed by Vicky Donor (2012), Madras Cafe(2013) fame Shoojit Sircar.
5- Mimi
Laxman Utekar’s directorial Mimi was released on 26 July. It stars Kriti Sanon & Pankaj Tripathi in Pivotal roles, Films critics praised the acting of both actors. It revolves around Kriti, who chooses to become a surrogate mother for a foreign couple.
Though critics bashed the storyline of the film calling it Contrived, it has an IMDb rating of 8/10. You can find it on the streaming platforms Jio Cinema & Netflix. It is made under the banner of Maddock films with the association of Jio Studios.
6- Chhorii
Chhori is a remake of the 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi. It is a horror film starring Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) fame Nushrrat Bharucha in the titular role of Sakshi. It is directed as well as co-wrote by Vishal Furia.
It was directly premiered on the leading streaming platform Amazon Prime Video on 26 Nov 2021. Made under the banner of giant production house T-Series with the collaboration of Crypt TV and A Psych Film. IMDb Rating 7.3/10.
7- Nail Polish
This Legal thriller drama is based on a social activist trial, who is accused of raping and then murdering migrant children. It stars Arjun Rampal and Manav Kaul in significant roles. Directed and written by Bugs Bhargava Krishna. It is available on the homegrown Over the Top (OTT) platform Zee 5. The IMDb rating is 7.3 out of 10.
8- Haathi Mere Saathi
South actor Rana Daggubati starrer Haathi Mere Saathi had skipped its theatrical release owing to coronavirus and directly broadcasted on the entertainment pay television channel Zee Cinema on 18 September 2021.
It was filmed simultaneously in Tamil as Kaadan, Telugu as Aranya, and HMS as Hindi, all these versions have slightly different star casts. Pulkit Samrat is featured in the Hindi Version as Shankar. It is available on the streaming platform Jiocinema.
9- Meenakshi Sundareshwar
We have a cute couple story from south India namely Meenakshi Sundareshwar, on the no. 8 spot of our list of Best Hindi Movies 2021 .
It stars Dangal (2016), Badhai Ho (2018) fame Sany Malhotra and the star kid Abhimanyu Dassani. It is Abhimanyu’s second film at the Hindi cinema, directed and co-wrote by Vivek Soni. you can find it on the OTT platform Netflix. IMDb rating 7.4/10.
10- Rashmi Rocket
Taapsee Pannu starrer Rashmi Rocket is a sports drama, based on the life struggles faced by various sportswomen. Directed by Tvf tripling fame Akarsh Khurrana.
It is bankrolled by the known Bollywood producer Ronnie Screwvala in association with his own production banner RSVP Movies. It is available on the streaming platform Zee 5. The IMDb rating of this sports drama is 7.7 out of 10.
11- Thalaivii
Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivii is based on the former C.M of Tamilnadu late J.Jayalalithaa’s life. It is made up of a budget of around Rs 100 crore, but couldn’t earn well at the box office despite getting mostly positive reviews from the critics. It was released during the second wave of corona on 10 Sept 2021.
