2023 is not going as expected for the Telugu movie industry. A big blockbuster is still awaited from Tollywood. Two big-starred movies, ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ and ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao,’ are releasing this Dussehra, but there are even bigger expectations for ‘Salaar,’ which could be affected by ‘Dunki’ in North India.
Bhagavanth Kesari has been released a day ahead of Tiger Nageswara Rao, but the movie is clashing on the same date with Tamil movie Leo, Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ has received strong buzz from advance booking. Leo Telugu reports are also positive, while there is not much harm to Bhagavanth Kesari as Nandamuri Bala Krishanan’s fans pour love into his film.
Bhagavanth Kesari Box Office Collection Day 1
As per early estimates, Bhagavanth Kesari is a mass action comedy movie that might earn 14-15 crore on its opening day. If we talk about Telugu Biggest Openers of 2023, Adipurush opened with 48 but failed to make it successful in comparison to the whopping budget of around 600 crore. The second biggest opener is NBK’s Veera Simha Reddy which collected 33.6 crore on opening day, then BRO (30.5 cr), Waltair Veerayya (29.5 Cr), and Dasara (22.45 Cr) are the top 5 films.
Bhagavanth Kesari has been released in only one language in Telugu speaking states. The festive clash might affect its Box Office Success but positive word of mouth will help it run ahead. The opening number is an early estimate, and will be updated soon after the night shows occupancy results.
