Bhajarangi (2013) received an outstanding response from the public and was declared a Blockbuster hit. Actor in lead role Shiva Rajkumar gained popularity with his dedication and hardwork in the movie.
At the age of 51, he lost weight and prepared for a six-pack abs body. He got a great response for his look and tremendous work in the film.

Actor Shiva Rajkumar starrer fantasy action film Bhajarangi 2 was scheduled to be released on September 10, 2021, but due to ongoing COVID -19 pandemic, the release of the film on big screen got delayed.
Finally this much-hyped fantasy drama hit the big screen October 29, 2021. Bhajarangi 2 also was released in its Telugu version with the title “Jai Bhajarangi” on the same date in Theaters.
The film received a mixed response from the public and critics. After having a theater release, makers are all set to give it an OTT release. Bhajarangi 2 will stream on Zee5 Kannada from December 23, 2021.

Actor in male lead role Shiva Rajkumar played the double role of Bhajarangi and Aanji in the film. Actor Bhavana Menon played the female lead role.
Actors Shruthi and Saurav Lokesh have also played pivotal roles in this fantasy thriller drama. Choreographer-turned- Director A. Harsha wrote and directed the film.
Jayanna and Bogendra jointly produced the movie under the banners of Jayanna films, while Arjun Janya was music composer and Swamy J. was Cinematographer. Ravivarma and Vikram were the stunt directors of the film.
Bhajarangi 2 Box Office Collection
Although expectations were high, Bhajarangi 2 made a collection of Rs. 2.70 crore only, on the first day of its release. The collection was said to be lower because of the death of the legendary actor, director and producer of Kannada Cinema Puneeth Shiva Rajkumar. Many of the theaters were closed to pay tribute and respect to the deceased soul.
The budget of the film is said to be Rs. 10 crore approx. Since the film is still running in the cinemas, the final net Box office collection is yet to be declared. Bhajarangi 2 has got an IMDb rating of 8.2/10.
