Pratik Gandhi came in limelight across India for portraying Harshad Mehta in the Web Series Scam 1992, his Bollywood movie Bhavai is soon to be hit cinemas, where he will be seen in a lead role with Aindrita Ray lead actress popular Kannada actress who is known for her film Manasaare.

Bhavai Release Date & Trailer
Bhavai meaning swang is the story of the film that explores two characters Ram and Rani who portraying Ramlila characters in a village called Khakhar. The filming of the movie was shot in Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch in mid-2018. It will be released in theatres on 22nd Oct. 2021.
Kannu Prajapati and Satya Sharma have edited the movie, the film’s trailer was released on 9 Sept 2021, it has crossed over 60 lakh+ views, viewers gave the trailer mixed responses, it has received almost equal no. of dislikes and likes 44k and 49k respectively.

Bhavai Controversy
Earlier the film’s name was Raavan Leela but the makers later changes its name to Bhavai by respecting people’s sentiments. However, it again dragged in controversy, this time it is on Twitter where tweeple accusing the film is against the sentiments of their religion. It started on sep19 with the Twitter trends #arrestpratikgandhi and #banravanleela_bhavai.
According to a report of ABP News Pratik Gandhi earlier given an interview to PTI where he said that “they are not showing any interpretation of Ram and Ravan, the film is not at all about it, that’s why the team changed its name, if sentiments of the people are being hurt”, further he stated that, “We Changed the name, but will that solve anything?”

Known Bollywood music composer and lyricist Shabbir Ahmed has composed the music for the film and penned the lyrics of the songs himself. he has worked in the movies like Wanted, Welcome, No problem, Kaal, etc.
There are five songs in the film Bhavai:
