South Indian superstar Pawan Kalyan and Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati starrer Bheema Nayak is the Telugu remake of the 2020s critically acclaimed Malayalam action thriller Ayyappanum Koshiyum, which was directed by ace director Sachy.
In the Telugu version, Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati reprise the role of Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran from its Malayalam version.
Directed by young director Saagar K. Chandra, Bheemla Nayak opened to an excellent response on Friday, 25th February. It was appreciated by the audience as well as critics.
The film has the screenplay of Trivikram Srinivas and it was bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.
Popular South Indian composer and playback singer S. Thaman composed the music and background score in the film while cinematographic and editing work is handled by Ravi K. Chandran and Naveen Nooli respectively.
After entertaining the Telugu audience, the makers of the movie are gearing for its Hindi release soon. Soon Hindi audience will witness the high-octane action scenes.
Reviews and Box Office Collection
The film was released on 25th Feb, just a day after another big-budget Tamil movie Valimai, starring megastar Ajith Kumar. It was made of an estimated budget of Rs. 75 Crore and is taking the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office by storm.
On an opening day, the film grossed Rs. 52.1 crore worldwide, out of Rs. 42.1 crore were collected in the domestic territory and emerged as the best post-pandemic opener in Telugu-speaking states.
In the opening week, the film grossed a massive amount of Rs. 110 crore, out of which around Rs. 90 cr. came from India and within 6 days it crossed the mark of Rs. 150 crores worldwide.
Bheemla Nayak Star Cast
Pawan Kalyan played as Sub-inspector Sarhad Bheemla Nayak and Rana Daggubati played an antagonist Retr. Havildar Daniel Shekar aka Denny. Nithya Menen and Samyuktha Menon played female leads in the film.
Apart from the leading star cast, the film also features Samuthirakani, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Raghu Babu, Tanikella Bharani, Teja Kakamanu, Narra Srinu, Kadambari Kiran, Chitti, Pammi Sai, Ramachandra Raju, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Saptagiri, and Hyper Aadi in supporting roles.
Bheemla Nayak Plot
The story of the film revolves around the never-ending rivalry between a retired havildar from the Indian army Danny aka Daniel Shekar (Rana Daggubati) and an efficient officer Bheemla Nayak (Pawan Kalyan), known for his strong morals and values.
Their rivalry starts when the Police and excise department red-handedly caught Danny who was carrying liquor illegally as that area was a prohibited zone. He tried to escape the charges using his money and influence but was registered by SI Bheemla Nayak.
Where will the rivalry between the two bring them?? The entire film is all about that. While the Telugu audience experienced a full action-packed ride, it is the turn of the Hindi audience that will soon witness it in the theater.
Bheemla Nayak Hindi Trailer Out
Although the Hindi dubbed version of the film was supposed to release on the same day the original (Telugu) version was released but due to unknown reasons it didn’t go as per plan and yet it is not confirmed when the Hindi dubbed version will arrive in cinemas.
Now, the makers of the movie have unveiled the most-awaited Hindi trailer of the film today on 4th March. However, it was supposed to launch just a day before but was not released due to unknown reasons.
This nearly two-minute-long trailer is full of action-packed scenes and depicts the rivalry between the brave Police officer and a power-drunk protagonist, played by Rana Daggubati. It also shows us the glimpse of Murali Shama in a Khaki uniform.
After watching the trailer we could say that the film is going to rock at the Hindi box office just like it is doing in the Telugu box office.
