Bollywood actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn is set for his another directorial venture titled Bholaa. Billed as a high octane action thriller, the film is the official Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s 2019 Tamil blockbuster Kaithi, which starred actor Karthi in the lead role.
Following the massive success of the Tamil film, the official rights for the Hindi version were acquired by Reliance Entertainment. Bholaa was announced in January 2022 and the shoot in August 2023.

Bholaa stars actor Ajay Devgn in the lead role. His most recent release is the fantasy comedy drama film Thank God, which opened to a mixed response from the public as well as critics. With the upcoming movie, the actor is surely expecting a massive response and it is also expected to end the draught of hits in his career after Sooryavanshi.
The film stars one of the most versatile actresses, Tabu, opposite Devgn, and the film makers, their 9th collaboration as well as the fourth directorial venture of the “Singham” actor after U, Me aur Hum (2008), Shivaay (2016), and Runway 34 (2022).
Earlier, Dharmendra Sharma, who made “Shivaay” with Ajay, was announced as the director. However, however, due to unknown reasons, Ajay Devgn himself decided to direct the film.
Actress Amala Paul, who is known for her work in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films, will also play a key role in this action extravaganza. She gained immense popularity for her role in the 2010 Tamil film Mynaa. Her most recent release is Disney+Hotstar’s cop thriller film, Cadaver.

Bholaa Release Date
Produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures, the film is set to be released on March 30, 2023. In July 2022, Ajay Devgn also announced the release date via his Twitter post. Later, shares motion poster on 21st of Nov 2022 and now teaser is also out on 22nd Nov.
About the Film
The plot of the film revolves around an ex-convict who decides to meet his daughter after being released from prison. Unfortunately, he gets caught in a face-off between the police and the drug mafias.
