Malayalam Horror drama Bhoothakaalam has recently chosen a direct OTT release. This mystery drama stars Mollywood actor Shane Nigam in the male lead role.
He made his debut with the 2013 Malayalam Road Adventure Film Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. In this adventure drama, Dulquer Salman played the lead role and Shane Nigam was cast in a supporting role.
He earned a lot of fame and popularity after his brilliant performance in Kismath (2016), Parava (2017), Kumbalangi Nights (2019) and Ishq (2019).
He also won the award for Best Debut-Malayalam at South Indian International Movie Awards for his romantic drama thriller Kismat.

India is heading towards the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the makers of the movie have decided to skip the theater release. This mystery thriller has been released directly on the online streaming platform SonyLIV, which is owned by Sony Pictures Network India.

Revathi as a mother is seen concerned regarding her son, as he is behaving very strangely throughout the trailer, while Shane Nigam as her son, seems disturbed by some mysterious events.

Bhoothakaalam Star Cast and Makers
Along with Shane Nigam, National Film Award-winning Malayali versatile actress Asha Kelunni, popularly known by her stage name Revathi, will be seen in the female lead role.
Revathi will play the mother of Shane Nigam in this mystery drama thriller. If we talk about the directorial work, it is done by Rahul Sadasivan. He also wrote the film.
The male lead Shane Nigam also bankrolled the film in association with Teresa Rani and Sunila Habeeb under the banner of Plan T. Films and Shane Nigham Films.
He also gave the lyrics as well as composed the music in the film. If we talk about technical work, cinematography and editing are performed by Gopi Sunder and Shafique Mohamed Ali, respectively.
