Bigg Boss Tamil 5: Bigg Boss Tamil has successfully run its five seasons now. In Oct 2021, it was back with the 5th exciting new season with the host Kamal Hassan, who is been hosting this reality show from the start.

The prize money for this season remained unchanged like any other season, 70,000 dollars or Rs. 50 lakh rupees. The show was started on 3 October 2021 on Tamil Tv channel Star Vijay aka Vijay Tv, you can watch the reality show on Disney+Hotstar also.

Day 14 evicted Nadia, Day 35 evicted Suruthi, Day 77 evicted Abhinay, Day 84 evicted Varun & Akshara, Day 95 Walked up Contestant Ciby, Day 98 evicted Thamarai joined the show recently as guests in the house, they made exit a day ahead of the finale.

We are sharing here all the contestant’s name lists with an inkling of their past life. Currently, Bigg Boss Hindi Season 15 and Bigg Boss Telugu 5 also going on.

Day 1 entry Ciby Bhuvana Chandran walked out on Day 95 after taking 12 lakh worth of money from Bigg Boss suitcase. After Thamarai eviction on Day 98, the top 5 finalists are Niroop, Raju, Pavni, Priyanka, and Amir

2nd Wildcard entry Sanjeev Venkat, actor and host, he is a friend of big star Thalapathy Vijay, this was the plus point for him but he got evicted on Day 91.

1st Wildcard Entry is Amir, who entered on Day 51, is a choreographer by profession.

1-Raju

Raju Jayemohan started his career from the Tv serials on Vijay Tv with the serial Kaana Kaanum Kanangal. He hails from Chennai, first debut movie was Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma released in 2019. He is an actor as well as a mimicry artist.

2- Isai Vani

Isai Vani is a folk singer, born in Chennai, she is a part of the Casteless Collective Band. She came in limelight during 2018 when she sang the ‘Beef Song’ to support the Dalit people, who were lynched. In 2019 she also made a controversial song on Sabrimala Temple called ‘I Am Sorry Ayyapa.’

3- Namitha Marimuthu

The transgender contestant of BB Tamil, Namitha Marimuthu is the first Indian who represent India in Miss Trans star Intl. her first movie was ‘Nadodigal 2’

4- Abishek Raaja

Radio Jockey turned YouTuber Abhishek Raaja also known as Cinema Payyan, has a YouTube channel named Open Panna he started in the year 2012. He also reviews the newly coming movies.

5- Priyanka Deshpande

She is a television anchor who worked with many channels like Sun Tv, Zee Tamil, Chutti Tv, and Vijay Tv. she also hosted the famous singing reality show of Tamilnadu, super singer season 4 and season 5.

6- Abhinay

Abhinay Vaddi was born and brought up in Chennai, Tamilnadu. He is an actor as well as a National level Table tennis player. He has worked in both Tamil and Telugu cinemas, he first acted in the film Ramanujan which was released in 2014.

7- Pavni

Pavni is best known for her serial Chinna Thambi on the channel Vijay Tv. in 2017 she married with Tamil actor who committed suicide in the same year namely Pradeep Kumar.

8- Chinnaponnu

Chinnaponnu started singing from the very early age of her life, when she was just 13yrs old she started singing in the festival. She first got a chance to sing as a playback singer in Rajinikanth starrer Chandramukhi (2004).

9- Nadia Chang

This Malaysian model Nadia Chang is akaArujayalachmi Arujunan also participated in BB Tamil 5. She is a model and Social Media Star especially TikTok which made her famous in the southern region of India. She also has an YouTube channel with 55 thousand (Approx.) subscribers.

10- Varun

Varun is the grandson of Tamil politician and actor Isari Velan. His film Joshua Imaa Pol Kaakha’s shooting has been completed and is to be released soon. He is a tough contender in BB Tamil season 5.

11- Imman Annachi

He has worked in many Tv shows and films, he is an actor, Tv host, politician, comedian. First worked in the film called Chennai Kadhal in 2006. He joined the political party DMK in the year 2016.

12- Suruthi

She started her career as a basketball player, she is a model too, featured for many brands. She came to Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 to gain fame and further works in movies. She is born in Salem and brought up in Chennai, Tamilnadu India.

13- Akshara Reddy

Model-actress Akshara Reddy has won a beauty contest held in Dubai in the year 2019. She has also worked in many movies in various cinemas, Tamil, Telugu, & Kannada. Her first movie was Kasu Mela Kasu, it was a Malaysian Tamil cinema movie.

14- Iykki berry

She is a surgeon turned songwriter and singer, born in the Thanjavur district of Tamilnadu in the year 1993. In 2008 she joined A.R Rehman foundational institute K.M Music Conservatory. She holds a graduation degree.

15- Thamarai Selvi

Stage artist Thamarai Selvi is also going to join the Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 this year, she is a folksinger and street theatre artist.

16- Niroop

Niroop is also known as Nirup Nandakumar born and brought up in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. He is an entrepreneur and wants to act in films, that’s the reason he joined Bigg boss to gain fame and further work in movies.

17- Ciby

He is an actor who first acted in Manoj Beedha’s directorial Vanjagar Ulagam which was released in the year 2018. As of now, he has worked in three movies namely Vanjagar Ulagam (2018), Ettharkum Thunnindavam (2021), Master (2021). His full name is Ciby Bhuvana Chandran.

18- Madhumitha

Germany’s costume designer Madhumitha has also joined BB 5 Tamil, she is a model who did her course in fashion designing course in Germany. Her reason to join Bigg Boss is that she herself is a big fan of the concept of this show.
