The popular TV reality show Bigg Boss Tamil 5 has witnessed its winner on Sunday among the top 5 finalists Amir, Niroop, Raju, Priyanka, Pavni, who were in the race to win the trophy.
The show is hosted by known actor-politician Kamal Haasan, who has been the host of the show since the start. Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 was started airing from 3 Oct 2021 on the entertainment channel Star Vijay or Vijay Tv.
As we have earlier told you that Priyanka and Raju are the two most loved contestants in the BB house. They both have been getting the most no. of votes.
Controversy
Following this recently netizens were trending the Bigg Boss Tamil is fixed and they have already decided their winner as Raju. The whole issue started when Bigg Boss 5 recently released a promo video of BBT5 finalists and the most loved contestant Priyanka Deshpande wasn’t seen in that video.
Since then Netizens, especially on Twitter, were showing their anger against the show, some even went on to say that the makers have eliminated Priyanka from the show that’s why she hasn’t been seen in the promo video.
They were accusing the makers that they have already decided to make the Raju BBT5 winner as Priyanka was his only tough competitor, so they have eliminated her from the house.
Bigg Boss Tamil 5 Winner
However, Priyanka reached the final with the other four finalists Amir, Niroop, Raju, and Pavni, and emerged as the first runner-up of BB Tamil season 5. Meanwhile, Raju Jeyamohan won the trophy and Rs 50 lakh cash prize money.
His mimicry, one-liners, and stand-up won the audience hearts and he beat his tough competitor Priyanka Deshpande garnering the most numbers of vote banks, in the Grand Gala Finale of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5.
Runner Ups
Actress Pavni Reddy was the second runner up and was the among top-three finalists. Whereas choreographer Amir emerged as the third runner-up and actor-model Niroop Nandakumar was the 5th Runner up of the BBT5.
Talking about the Winner Raju, he started his career in acting from the soap opera Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, his debut film in the Kollywood industry was the 2015 political satire film Thunai Mudhalvar. He will next be seen in Doctor fame Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming action-comedy Don.
For the unversed, Bigg Boss Tamil 5 broadcasted on the Star Vijay Channel and simultaneously on the giant streaming platform Disney+Hotstar. The Grand Gala Finale event of Bigg Boss Tamil 5 came about on 16 January 2022 (Sunday).
