Bigg Boss Tamil 5 has seen its grand gala finale on 16 Jan, Sunday and with it, it witnessed the Season 5 winner as Raju Jeyamohan, who won the viewers’ heart by getting the most number of votes.
And with the end of BBT5, the show’s host Kamal Haasan announced an exclusive digital version of Bigg Boss (Bigg Boss Ultimateor BBUltimate) which shows its finale on 10th of April.
The OTT version of Bigg Boss Tamil initally hosted by Haasan himself, who has been the host of BB Tamil since the beginning, due to the shooting schedule of the upcoming film Vikram, the actor steps down as host on the third week, now he will be seen hosting the sixth season of this show.
Blockbuster hit of 2021, Maanaadu actor SilambarasanTR joined as a new host of Bigg Boss Ultimate, official announcement happens on the 24th of Feb.
The reality show titled Bigg Boss Ultimate, viewers enjoyed the show 24*7 live, unlike the Television which only runs an hour episode, now all episodes are available on Disney+ Hotstar.

Kamal Haasan’s Statement on BBUltimate
Talking about the BBUltimate, Haasan said, ” I am Extremely Excited to Continue Staying in Touch with You by Hosting the OTT Version as Well. Disney+Hotstar Premiere Date
Bigg Boss Ultimate or BBUltimate starts streaming on the Digital platform Disney+Hotstar from 30 January 2022.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss Season 5 was won by the actor screenwriter Raju Jeyamohan, who got the crash prize money of Rs 50 lakhs along with the trophy.
The Runner up was Video Jockey Priyanka Deshpande, the second runner of BBT5 was Pavni Reddy, third and fourth runner-ups were choreographers Amir and Niroop Nandakumar respectively.
