The blockbuster hit film Bimbisara is not in the mood of slowing down at the box office, the film continues to see an upward trend in its collection even in the second week. It completed the break-even in the first three days and is currently in a profit of Rs 16.23 Cr.
Directed and written by Mallidi Vasistha and backed by Hari Krishna K under the banner N.T.R Arts. It has Kalyan Ram in the main lead role, while Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon, Prakash Raj, Vennela Kishore, Srinivasa Reddy, and Vivan Bhatena in the key roles.

Bimbisara 2 is a Prequel
If Telugu trade circle reports are to be believed then the next part of Bimbisara will be a prequel, the reports state that recently during interaction with the press, Kalyan Ram informed the press that the script for the Bimbisara 2 is ready. And the team will soon commence the shoot. The actor also told that the next part will be the backstory of King Bimbisara and they will also explain why is he a ruthless king.

Box Office Collection Day 12
Kalyan Ram fronted recently crossed the 50 cr mark at the box office worldwide and currently stands at Rs 53.60 Cr gross. The film even in its second week continues the momentum at the box office.
It saw an upward trend in the collections on its second weekend and witnessed major growth in the collection on the occasion of independence day, in the home market (AP-TG). It is inching closer to the Rs 50 Cr mark there. The total AP-TG collection of Bimbisara stands at Rs 44.45 Cr gross (Rs 28.28 Cr shares). As per the telugu trade reports, it collects in the range of Rs 1.35 Cr gross at the BO worldwide on Day 12 (Tuesday). The film will be eying its lifetime to finish with Rs 60 Cr.
