Kalyan Ram’s film “Bimbisara” is inching closer to grossing 50 cr at the box office worldwide, the film had crossed the breakeven point in the weekend itself and currently is in the profit of over Rs 10 crores.
Now, it has completed its one-week run in the cinemas, the total worldwide collections of the Kalyan Ram fronted stands at Rs 44 crore gross, so far. It broke the Tollywood box office drought and got the tag blockbuster plus, now it is creeping up to become a double blockbuster.

Box Office Collection Day 8
Now, coming to the box office, Bimbisara has done impressive business at the box office, especially in the home market (AP-TG), so far it has collected Rs 23.45 crore shares ( Rs 36.85 Cr gross) from the theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as per Telugu BO tracker T2BLive.
As per the trade reports, Bimibsara witnessed growth on Friday and collects Rs 2.10 Cr gross on Day 8 (Fri), which is a growth of around 80%. The worldwide gross business of the film stands at Rs 44.40 Cr (Rs 26.85 Cr shares).
The film needs to show major growth in the collection during the 2nd weekend to cross Rs 50 Cr. If everything goes according to the plan, then the next target would be Rs 75 Cr.

3 Actors Rejected Bimbisara
You will be amazed to hear that before roping in Kalyan Ram for the film, Malidi Vashishta narrated the story to three other actors from the Kollywood industry they are namely, Allu Sireesh, Nithiin, and Ram but nothing worked out and the project turned to Kalyan Ram in the end, as per a report of News 18.
The report also added that Kalyan Ram is also the financer of the movie, he invested 15 cr in the flick. Let us inform you, that Bimbisara was made with a budget of Rs 40 Cr as per TOI.
