Dwayne Johnson starrer Black Adam is nearing its end at the box office in India, the flick so far has collected 48.69 crores and creeping to the 50 crore mark before ending its run. On the other, it crossed the $350M mark at the box office, WW.
It was released on Oct 20, 2022, a day before the U.S release in India. It hit the theatres in four languages English along with the dubbed versions Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
It is a $200M movie, therefore, the said business will not be enough to make up its budget. And on top of it with the arrival of the highly anticipated Black Panther 2 at the box office, the road ahead is tough for the Dwayne starrer.

Eying Fantastic Beasts 3 Lifetime
As per a report of Box Office Mojo, The DC movie brought in $4.5M in its third weekend for a total domestic cume of $157M. It draws in $8M from the Intl market (excluding China) this weekend bringing it to an Intl. cume of $209M.
With this, the total worldwide figure of Black Adam reaches $366M (INR 2871 crores approx). At this point, it is safe to say that it is neither a flop nor a smash hit. However, it is expected to surpass the $400M mark in the long run with this, it will be eying the Secrets of Dumbledore ($405M) in the Fantastic Beasts film series to become the 10th highest grosser of 2022.
Box Office India
Black Adam opened with a ₹ 6.8 Cr start at the box office in India, the film was stable throughout its extended weekend. And saw a drop of 38% on its first Monday which is good considering Hollywood films drop heavily on Mondays in India, all thanks to the popularity of Dwayne Johnson. Hence, it helped the movie to reach the 50 Cr mark.

It brought in ₹ 34.76 Cr in its first week, it clocked in ₹ 10.84 Cr in the second week with a 68.8% drop. The collections dropped by 73.52% in the 2nd week for a total ₹ 2.87 crores.
The total 25 days India collections of Black Adam stands at ₹ 48.69 Cr nett ( 57.52 Cr gross) out of which 25.92 Cr came in from the English version followed by 21.85 Cr from Hindi, 0.59 Cr from Tamil, and 0.33 Cr from the Telugu version.
