Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Black Adam is a spin-off to Shazam (2019) and marks the 11th film in the DCEU franchise.
The film was released in Oct 2022 to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike and went on to become a commercially unsuccessful movie.
The film revolves around Black Adam (Portrayed by DJ), an anti-hero who was imprisoned for 5k years, and now he is back with the promise that no one will ever dare to imprison him again.

Black Adam Release Date
Dwayne starrer was earlier scheduled to release on 22 Dec 2021 but was put off owing to covid-19 to the new release date of 29 July 2022. After rescheduling the release date two times, Black Adam was released in theatres on October 2022.
In India, it was released a day prior to the US release on Oct 20, 2022 in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.
Makers dropped the official teaser of the film in Aug 2020 giving a little back story about Dwayne’s character Adam.
OTT Release Date
Black Adam will have its premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 15 March 2023 in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
The film received mixed reviews from moviegoers, now it is to be seen how the digital audience reacts to the film.

Black Adam garnered an average response at the Indian box office. The film earned 48.69 crores in its run which will be considered a below-par performance given the face value of Dwayne Johnson.
