Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has opened to a rocking start at the box office India. The flick has emerged as the third-highest opening-day grosser of 2022 for a Hollywood film in India. And as per the advance report, it will see a jump in its earnings on day 2 as well.
Black Panther 2 is directed by Ryan Coogler and serves as the sequel to the 2018 film Black Panther. It is made with a budget of $250M, as per variety. And is expected to rake in $1B worldwide in its full run to become the 4th flick post-pandemic to achieve the feat after SpiderMan: NWH, Top Gun: Maverick, and Jurassic: World Dominion.

To note, it hasn’t been released in China yet and will not be released in Russia due to geo-political tensions. In India, the flick has emerged as the top choice for moviegoers taking a double-digit start.
Box Office Collection Day 2
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has recorded a jump of over 10% on Day 2, reportedly. As per the trade estimations, it minted ₹ 13.5-13.6 Cr on Day 2 (Sat) to take the total earnings of the film to ₹ 26 crores, in India.
The collections are below par as compared to the previous marvel releases that are because of less popularity of Black Panther 2 in India. However, it is set to become the third highest-grosser Hollywood film of 2022.

Black Panther 2 Advance Bookings Day 2
It has taken a jump on Saturday going by the early trade reports. It has brought in ₹ 6.43 Cr from the pre-sales for Saturday which is over 1 Cr more than the day 1 advance bookings collections. Wakanda Forever has sold 1.9L+ tickets on Saturday in Advance bookings.
The film has beaten the day 1 earnings of the likes of Jurassic: World Dominion, Black Adam and The Batman. It seems now heading forward to clock over ₹ 40 Cr weekend to emerge as the third highest opening weekend Hollywood grosser of 2022, in India.
