Liam Neeson who has starred in many known Hollywood films like Batman Begins, Taken Trilogy, The Grey, etc. is soon be seen in an operative action thriller film Blacklight. Helmed by action thriller The accountant (2016) fame Mark Williams.
The storyline of Blacklight revolves around Travis Block who is a U.S govt operative, everything goes well until a reporter makes a revelation to him about the govt policy under which they target U.S citizens, further he goes against the FBI(Federal Bureau of Investigation) especially the director Aidan Quinn, who is the main force behind all wrongdoings.
He captures traves granddaughter and the story is tweaked from here and becomes more gripping further.

Liam Neeson is essaying the titular character of Travis Block, actress-singer Emmy Raver-Lampman (Mira Jones), Hunter Killer, The Outpost fame Tayler John Smith(Dusty Crane), Veteran actor Aidan Quinn playing Gabriel Robinson.
Australian actress Claire Van Der Boom (Amanda Block), another Australian actress Yael Stone is playing Helen Davidson, Australian actor Tim Draxi in the role of Drew Hawthorne.

The shooting went on floors in Nov 2020, filming predominantly happened in Australia. Blacklight is made on a budget of 43 million U.S dollars in Indian Rupees 317 crore rupees approximately.

Makers recently Jan 5, unveiled the trailer of the Blacklight on social media platforms, It surpassed over 1 lakhs views in 8 days on YouTube.
In Sept 2021, makers announced the release date of Blacklight, It will be released in cinemas on 11 Feb 2022. Distributed by Briarcliff Entertainment, The Solution Entertainment Group, and Sina Studios.
