A small-budget film made on a mere Rs 12 to 15 crores budget has grossed Rs 200 crores worldwide in just 10 days of its theatrical run. When have you seen this kind of response from the viewers at the cinema halls last time?
The Kashmir Files which revolves around the plight and the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits/Hindus that took place in the valley in 1990 have made it possible.
The film is already considered a blockbuster and now is en route to becoming a historical film, as it still continues having the dream run at the box office.
TKF was released on limited screens with no big celebs in the film with fewer promotions, still stands tall in front of all the biggies, like Radhe Shyam, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Batman, etc.
Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri who is not on good terms with many people of the Bollywood fraternity reason, his candid views on the content that Bollywood keeps producing, have seen very little support for his film from the same.

Kangana Ranaut is among the first from Bollywood who came out in the support of Vivek’s film. She has been supporting the film since day 1 through her IG(Instagram) stories, she recently was spotted by the paparazzi when going to watch the film. She told that the film is a must-watch and has also washed the sins of Bollywood.
Yami Gautam
Yami Gautam has also seen supporting the film on SM platforms, she recently retweeted her husband Aditya Dhar’s viral tweet on the plight of Kashmiri Pandits praising the team members of TKF, she wrote that please watch and support the film.

Khiladi Akshay Kumar also came in the support of the film, he took to Twitter and by praising the performance of Anupam Kher also shared that it is amazing to see the theatergoers finally back in the cinemas in huge numbers. He further wrote he will watch the film soon.

Recently Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan during the promotional event of the upcoming film RRR gave the remark on TKF that everybody must watch the film as it is based on Kashmiri Pandits. He also said that it is very sad what happened with Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. He will definitely watch the film.
However, his views are getting mixed responses from the viewers, some are saying that he is just luring the majority to watch his films further, one netizen wrote that it is his trick to promote his film Laal Singh Chaddha, other wrote that Aamir has always been speaking on the Kashmir issue.
