Their last film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was blockbuster and again they came back with this unique love story of a college boy Aryan (SRK) and his love Megha (Aishwarya Rai) but her father Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan) who is the strict headmaster of Gurukul doesn’t allow them to unite that results in death of Megha in a suicide.
