Ranbir’s Brahmastra has clocked Rs 54.20 crores in its 2nd week taking its domestic bizz over Rs 222.95 crores. It touched a double-digit number on its third Friday to take the total box office collections in the vicinity of Rs 233 crores.
With this, the visual spectacle surpassed the lifetime of Srk’s Chennai Express, Salman Khan’s Kick. And the recent is, it crosses the lifetime of Ranveer Singh’s Simmba (Rs 240.31 crores).

Box Office Collection Day 16
As per the early trade estimations, it rakes in 7-8 crores on its third Saturday to take the total collection to over 240 crores in the domestic market. With this, it beats Simmba’s lifetime and now eye The Kashmir Files’ lifetime to become the highest grosser of 2022, for an outright Hindi film.
Advance Bookings Reports Day 16
After a huge third Friday–in terms of occupancy, Ranbir-Alia starrer sold tickets upwards of 1 lakhs, overall for Day 16 in all versions, worth Rs 2.44 crores. On Day 15, it sold over 11L tickets, and around 16 Lakh people watched Brahmastra on the occasion of national cinema day.
The surge in the occupancy rate was because of cheap ticket rates, the tickets were priced at Rs 75 on Friday. From today onwards, the tickets will be sold at regular prices which results in low advance bookings.
