Brahmastra raked in the vicinity of 21 crores in its third weekend, with this it beats The Kashmir Files, 20.85 crores 3rd-weekend biz, emerging as the highest grosser 3rd weekend Bollywood film of 2022.
It has gone past the 245 crore mark, domestically and the next target of the flick would be to cross the 250 crore mark which it will surpass on the weekdays itself, and then head for the 325 crore lifetime.
Hrithik Roshan, to Play a Key Role in Brahmastra 2?
The visual spectacle is garnering footfalls even after its third weekend, and now following the success of the Part-One, its sequel has started making a buzz among the audience. As per the reports, the sequel will start rolling by the end of this year or the beginning of 2023, and rumors are rife that Hrithik Roshan is on board for a key role.

Box Office Collection Day 19
Going by the current trends, Ranbir’s film will stay steady on the weekdays due to the Navratri offer of Rs 100 ticket price till Thursday and then again jump on the weekend. As per the early trade estimations, it accumulates around Rs 1.5 crore on Tue (Day 19) to take the total collection of the flick close to 247 crores, domestically.
Eying 100 crores overseas
Not only in the domestic market, but Ranbir’s film is doing exceptionally well at the box office overseas. The overseas business of the flick currently stands at Rs 95.59 crores, as per the data available from the official websites. It will soon cross the Hrithik’s War overseas biz of Rs 97.04 crores and then head to cross the coveted 100-cr club.
It will then eye to cross Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year’s overseas (Rs 101.16 Cr), Chennai Express (Rs 109.08 Cr) and My Name is Khan (Rs 108.83 Cr).
