Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s latest release Brahmastra has gone past the 250 crore mark in the third week and also surpassed the lifetime of the Kashmir Files to become the 12th highest grosser Bollywood film of all time, domestically.
The visual spectacle was released on Sept 9th and took a great start at the box office followed by a stupendous opening weekend. Despite there being mixed talk among the audience for Ranbir starrer, it still manages to emerge as the highest grosser film of 2022 for an outright Hindi film.
Brahmastra Crosses 250 Cr Mark in India
Recently, industry tracker, Sumit Kadel took to Twitter to share that the Brahmastra has gone past 250 crore marks in three weeks. As per him, Brahmastra has collected Rs 254.50 crores in 21 days in all languages, which includes Rs 231.50 Cr from the Hindi version and Rs 23 Cr from the dubbed versions e.g Tamil and Telugu.

Box Office Collection Day 22
Brahmastra locked horns with Hrithik Roshan’s Vikram Vedha on Friday, in the Hindi belt, the latter sees a wide release domestically. On the other, Ranbir’s film witnesses a reduction in its show counts due to the arrival of two biggies VV in the north and Ponniyin Selvan-1 in the south. However, it remains to be seen how much it affects the Brahmastra’s bizz. As per the early trade estimations, Ranbir-Alia’s film collects Rs 1.2-1.5 crore on its fourth Friday.
It is expected to draw in another 10 crores on its 4th weekend to take its total domestic collections in the vicinity of 270 crores. Then the next target of the flick would be to cross the bizz of Kabir Singh and Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior.
