Is Brahmastra in Profit after minting 400 crores globally?
As per the trade reports, the worldwide gross figures of Brahmastra stand at upwards of 429 crores. Here is the breakdown, Brahmastra is made on a huge budget of 410 crores. The worldwide nett collections of Brahmastra will be around 350-380 crores.
The thing is, even if net box office collections hit Rs 410 crores, they have to make another Rs 275 crore to break even because it shares 55% of BO collections with exhibitors, as per the reports.
The OTT rights of Brahmastra are reportedly sold at Rs 150 crores which means it will need around 155-185 crores more to break even which they will have to make it from the satellite rights and the music rights. It seems a tough task.
