“Brahmastra” is rock solid at the box office despite its opening with mixed responses from the critics and the audience alike. It had entered the coveted 100 crore club on the weekend itself and is steady on the weekdays.
Following the stupendous performance at the box office, the Ranbir-Alia starrer is now heading for 150 crores domestically. Ayan Mukerji helmed the movie and it is produced by Dharma Production in association with Star Studios.

The good thing is that Brahmastra is without competition at the box office, currently. it has 2 week open run at the box office until Hrithik-Saif starrer Vikram Vedha arrives.
Going by the current trends, crossing the 200 Cr mark will be a cakewalk for Ranbir starrer. And it is expected to reach the milestone by the end of second weekend. It draws in another double-digit figure on Tuesday as well taking the total collections in the vicinity of 150 crores, all versions domestic market.
As per the trade reports, Brahmastra collects Rs 13 Cr on Day 5 (Tue), which makes the total India collection of the movie Rs 150 Cr. Talking about the Hindi collections, it has reached Rs 132.50 crores.
Brahmastra is Ranbir’s 3rd Highest Grosser film
As Brahmastra is strongly heading for the 200 crore mark, it has become Ranbir Kapoor’s 3rd highest grosser of all-time after Sanju and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. And going by the performance of the flick at the box office, it will cross the lifetime of YJHD in a few days to become the 2nd highest of the actor’s career.

Steady on Weekdays
Brahmastra passed the crucial first Monday test by doing business of Rs 16.50 crores, across all versions in the domestic market. The film is taking the box office by storm currently, of all the dubbed versions, the Telugu version of the film is leading with over 16 Cr gross (3 days) alone.
It has recently overtaken the overseas bizz of Laal Singh Chaddha, and now is heading for the 100 crore mark in the international belt. The overseas collection currently stands at Rs 70.1 Cr.
