Bridgerton, an American streaming television drama series is all set to come again with its second season.
This drama is based on American historical romance author Julia Quinn’s first of beloved Regency- set of novels “The Duke and I”, which is the fictional book telling the story of the upper-cast of the Regency Era in London.
First season of Bridgerton premiered on December 25, 2020 on OTT platform Netflix. In 2020, on the occasion of Christmas, Bridgerton makers gifted viewers with its Season 1.
Now on the occasion of its first anniversary on December 25, 2021, the makers of this drama series gave the surprise to its fans by announcing its second season in the upcoming year.

The Second Season of this series started filming in the spring of 2021 but had to pause in mid-July due to the COVID-19 outbreak and then resumed filming in mid-August.
Bridgerton Season 2 Star Cast
In the upcoming season, Jonathan Bailey will continue to play the role of Lord Anthony Bridgerton, the eldest son and holder of the Bridgerton family.
Adjoa Andoh and Golda Rosheuvel will reprise their roles as Lady Danbury and Queen Charlotte, respectively. The Story of the second season is based on Julia Quinn’s second Bridgerton novel “The Viscount Who Loved Me”.
Some newcomers will be introduced in this season according to the demand of the script, these are Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandan.
Simone Ashley (Simone Ashwini Pillai) and Charithra Chandan, both are British-Indian actresses who will be playing Kate Sharma and Edwina Sharma, respectively in the series.
This series is directed by Chris Van Dusen, an American television producer, and screenwriter and produced by Shonda Rhimes, who was the head writer, executive producer, and showrunner-creator of the TV medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.
