There is good news for the fans of American historical-romance streaming television series Bridgerton, that it is going to come back with its third season soon, after delivering two successful seasons.
The series is based on Julia Quinn’s novel series of the same name and delivered its first season in December 2020 following the second season on March 25, 2022. The second season became the most-watched English -languages television series on Netflix with 656.16 million views in the first 28 days of its release and broke the second of the first season in viewership.
Now, the third season will come back with more regency romance and more drama and we just can’t wait to watch it.

Bridgerton Season 3 Announcement
On Thursday, July 20, 2022, Netflix officially confirmed the third season of Bridgerton with an adorable 30-second video clip to brew excitement in fans who were early waiting for the upcoming season.
The clip shows Coughlan and Newton along with their co-stars holding up their two fingers before switching to hold up three indicating the commencement of the third season.

Bridgerton Season 3 Star Cast
Bridgerton Season 3 will bring most of the star cast of Season 2 back to play their respective character. In April 2022, Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey as Viscountess Bridgerton (known as Kate) and Viscount Bridgerton (Known as Anthony), respectively, the two central characters of second season, will explore their married life and duties as heads of the eponymous family.
In May 2022, Hannah Dodd was cast to replace Ruby Stokes as Francesca Bridgerton, as stoke exited the show due to scheduling conflict. Charithra Chandran will reprise her role as Kate’s sister Edwina Sharma.
Similarly, Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, Adjoa Andoh, Lorraine Ashbourne will reprise their roles as Penelope Featherington, Colin Bridgerton, Queen Charlotte, Eloise Bridgerton, Benedict Bridgerton Lady Dabury, Mrs. Varley, respectively. In addition to the existing star cast, the show will also feature Daniel Francis, Sam Philips and James Phoon.
About Bridgerton Season 3
Unlike the first two seasons which followed the order of the book series, the third season will focus on the love story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, based on Quinn’s fourth novel titled Romancing Mister Bridgerton.
Van Dusen has been replaced by Jess Brownell as the writer and showrunner for the third as well as fourth season of Bridgerton. The series is produced by Shondaland and CVD Productions.
