Carry On Jatt 3 opened with Rs 10.12 Crore at Box Office Worldwide, jumps on day 2 and Day 3, collected Rs 10.72 Crore, 12.32 Crore, and now the total is 33.16 Crore.
Popular singer-cum-actor of the Punjab Film Industry Gippy Grewal, who is basking in the success of his last release Dhaka, is back with the third installment of his superhit comedy-drama film franchise Carry on Jatta, titled Carry on Jatta 3.
Along with playing the lead role in the film Gippy is also producing it under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures while comedy-drama film Lucky Di Unlucky Story (2013) fame Sameep Kang is directing the film.

The first part features Mahie Gill as the female lead and it was released in 2012 and it was produced by Gippy Grewal’s brother Sippy Grewal under his banner Sippy Grewal Production.
The film earned Rs. 18 Crore against a small budget of 3.5 Crore. The core storyline of the film was based on the 1989 Malayalam Movie Chakkikotha Chankaran.
It was also remade in Odia as Pilata Bigidigala (2015), in Telugu as Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam (2016), in Bangladesh (Bengali) as Dhat Teri Ki (2017), and in Bengali (India) as Jamai Badal (2019).
Seeing the success of the film the second installment was also made in 2018 which starred actress Sonam Bajwa as the female lead opposite Gippy Grewal. It made the record of the highest-grossing Punjabi film of all time by grossing Rs. 57.67 Crore against a budget of Rs. 8-12 Crore.

Gippy Grewal who played Jass Dhillon in the first two parts is more likely to play the same in the upcoming sequel. Apart from this, Gippy is also collaborating with popular Punjabi rapper Bohemia after two years, for his new single titled Khatarnak.
Along with Grewal, actors Binnu Dhillon and Jaswinder Bhalla will reprise their roles as Goldie Dhillon and Advocate Dhillon, respectively.
Karamjit Anmol who played Taji in the first part and Tony in the second part, will also be back in for the upcoming film. Punjabi actor-comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi is more likely to reprise his character named Honey.
Carry on Jatta 3 Release Date
On Friday, April 1, 2022, Gippy announced the updates for his most-awaited comedy-drama film Carry on Jatta 3. He took to his social media handle and announced the third part of his most loved franchise.
Sharing the announcement poster, the actor gave it the caption “Get Ready to go Rolling-on-Floor-Laughing, coz the Biggest Movie Legacy is Set to go back on Floors this October “.
And hence it is confirmed that the shooting of the film will start on October 1, 2022, and it will release theatrically on June 29th, 2023.
