Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui Box Office Collection Day 1: Slow Start but WOM can boost Weekend Total
Ayushmann Khurrana is yet again back with an out-of-the-box theme film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui which releases today Dec 10, where Ayushmann is playing a cross-function athlete as Manivinder Munjal aka Manu and Vaani Kapoor playing transgender as Maanvi Brar.
Abhishek Kapoor directed Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar along with Pragya Kapoor, Krishan Kumar, and Abhishek Nayyar, & it is made under the banner of T-Series with the collab of Guy in the Sky Pictures.

Synopsis
The storyline follows Manvinder Munjal (Ayushmann) who is a gym owner and fitness enthusiast, and also tries to compete in the local championship, the gyms business sees far and few footfalls until comes Maanvi (Vaani) as gym’s instructor. Further, they both fall in love, story tweaks when Munjal finds out the reality about Maanvi.
Opening Day Box Office Collection
Talking about the Box office Collection, the advance booking for the film as of 0:20 AM Dec 10, made the gross business of Rs 1.50 cr from the advance collection, it opened with a low number, 3.75 Crores at domestic, hopefully, the weekend will be greater as the movie is receiving positive word of mouth all over.

Though Ayushmann’s last three films did the business on an average of Rs 9 to 10 crores on an opening day but considering it the pandemic time, and the theatres in Mumbai are still not open with full occupancy, tt will collect Rs 3 to 5 crores less than the normal time.

Apart from Ayushmann and Vaani, Abhishek Bajaj, Kanwaljit Singh, Gautam Sharma, Aanjjan Srivastav, and cricketer Yuvraj Singh father Yograj Singh features in pivotal roles in the film. Manoj Lobo is the cinematographer, Editing is done by Chandan Arora, Sachi-Jigar is the music composer. AA Films are the distributor.
