Chase is an upcoming Kannada suspense thriller movie which is directed as well as written by Hari Anand Shetty aka Vilok Shetty. Sunil N. Katabu is the co-director while Santose Kumar has written the dialogues along with director Shetty.
The film is jointly bankrolled by Manohar Suvarna, Pradeep Shetty and Prasanth Shetty under the banner of Simplyfun Media Network Pvt. Ltd. On the technical front, Anantha Raj Urs is serving as the director of photography and editing is done by Sri Crazyminndz. Karthik Acharya is composing the music and background score while Dr Umesh Pilikudelu has Penned the lyrics.
“Chase In the Dark” has choreography by Vjii Satish and Sushant Pujari who is also acting in the film. Ace singers Vijay Prakash, Anuradha Bhat, Benny Dayal, Sanjith Hegde, Maqbool Mansoor Mohammed have lent their voice in the songs of the film. Avinash S. Divakar is handling the art department.

The film has an ensemble case including Radhika Narayan of “U Turn” (2016) fame, Avinash S. Diwakar aka Avinash Narasimharaju, the grandson of legendary Kannada comedian Narasimharaju, Sheethal Shetty, Pramod Shetty, Arjun Yogesh Raj, Sushant Pujari and Arvind Rau.
It also stars Sudha Belavadi, Rajesh Natarang, Sweta Sanjeevulu, Arvind Bolar, Rehaman Hassan, Veena Sundar, Priya Shatamarshan, Nagarjuna, King Mohan, Usha Bhandari, Satheesh Madhyamika, Ragashree and others in key roles.
Chase Release Date
The makers of the movie have released the release date of this most awaited suspense thriller and now it is confirmed that the film will be released theatrically on May 19th, 2022. Earlier, it was supposed to be released in 2021 but due to the COVID-19 lockdown affected the film’s production work, and things didn’t go as per plan. Now the film is all set to release next month.
Two songs of the film have already been released; these are Manada Hosila which was released on April 2, 2021 and it has the voices of Vijay Prakash and Mohammed Maqbool Mansoor.
The other song is titled as Sha La La La Love and it is sung by Benny Dayal, it was released on Valentine’s Day, Feb 14, 2022.

Chase Teaser
The teaser of the movie was revealed way back on November 16, 2022. The nearly one minute long teaser is full of drama, crime and suspense. It shows a mysterious serial killer who first offers lift to single girls to drop home and then murders them. There are some romantic scenes shown in the teaser. The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the movie but the interesting twists and turns will surely make the viewers stick to their seats.
