Actress Rakul Preet Singh’s social drama Chattriwali first Look was launched in Nov 2021, finally the film has been released as direct OTT release, trailer was promising, witty and engaging.
It is a social entertainer genre movie which is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, it tells the story of a young female Chemistry graduate but unemployed, trying hard to fetch a job in a small town area but couldn’t succeed.
Now she has taken the job of condom tester which she is embarrassed to talk of, publicly. Receiving positive WOM from critics and audiences, some recommended it as one of the best New OTT Releases.

Rakul Preet Singh is playing the main lead as a Condom Tester, that’s why the film’s title is Chhatriwali, as in local language in India ,condom is called Chattri, and since she is a girl, the film’s title is Chattriwali, this will be a fun riot with desi humour.
The first look poster where she tagged the various names from the industry, from where we can assume that she will be appearing in the film along with TVF Trippling fame Sumeet Vyas, known Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik and Aiyaary fame Rajesh Tailang.

Rakulpreet’s Chhatriwali’s Chhatriwali goes for a direct digital premiere, Zee5 Original film booked the slot ‘20th of January 2023‘, another Bollywood movie ‘Mission Majnu‘ also released on the same date.
Last year, Rakul Shared poster with the caption “Bin Mausam Barsaat Kabhi Bhi Ho Sakti Hai, Apni Chattri Taiyaar Rakhiye!,” on her Twitter timeline where she was featured in the poster holding a torn condom wrapper in which the film’s title was written.
Chhatriwali Makers
Talking about the production of the film, the makers have completed its pre-production, and also started the principal photography/shooting of the film a few weeks ago. The news of the filming was given by rakul herself through her IG handle where she posted some three-four pics in the story. It was commenced in lucknow.
This social entertainer drama is bankrolled by the known producer of the Hindi Cinema Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019) fame Ronnie Screwvala, it is made under his own production house RSVP Movies.
