Actress Hina khan, whose has ruled the TV industry for more than a decade playing Akshara in Star Plus’s superhit show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is all geared to make audience go crazy with her upcoming feature film tilted Country Of Blind.
The film is based on English writer H.G. Wells’s “The Country of the Blind”, a short story, first published in the April 1904 issue of “The Strand Magazine”. Country Of Blind marks the second feature film of Hina khan after Lines (2021).
Country Of Blind Cast & Crew
In the film Hina is going to play the role of a blind person, the role she is playing for the first time in her career. Meanwhile, She is all set to essay the role of a police officer Radhika Shroff in Adeeb Rais’s new series Seven One.
Country of Blind will be written and directed by Rahat Kazim, who also co-wrote her debut film Lines along with Kuwar Shakti Singh. Rahat is donning the hat of the producer under his Rahat Kazim films along with Tariq Khan Productions Nutzaboutme Pte Ltd. and Zeba Sajid Films.
While production houses including Turn Key Films (U.S.A.) and Hiro’s Faar Better Films and Riaan Rai Motion Pictures (U.K.) are the co-producers. Cory Tucek and Jayant Jaiswal are the executive producers while Luxmi Chand is cranking the camera and Seven 2 Creations is the Line Producer.
Hina Khan unveiled Country Of Blind Poster
Hina Khan unveiled the poster of her film at the Indian Pavilion in the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival at Cannes, France. The poster features her as a blind girl all smiling with her co-star. Talking about the film, Hina shared that she remembered anecdotes from the times she was shooting for the film in the Kashmir Valley.

About the Film
Country Of Blind, a Indo-English film set in the 1800 timeline and showcased the lives of a valley full of blind people and how they are living a happy and fulfilled life despite not having the gift of sight.
