Hotstar Specials acclaimed crime thriller legal drama series Criminal Justice is set to return with its third season soon, after delivering two successful seasons. The series is based on the 2008 British drama of the same name.
The debut season of the series premiered on April 5, 2019 through Hotstar. It received positive response from the public as well as critics, with praises for the performance of the star cast. In February 2020, the makers announced its second season titled Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors, which was released through Disney+Hotstar on December 24, 2020.
Now, the series is set to make it return with the third season, almost 2 years after the last season premiered. The shooting of Criminal Justice Season 3 started in January this year. The upcoming season is titled as Criminal Justice Adhura Sach.
Criminal Justice Season 3 Star Cast
The season 3 of this crime thriller series marks the return of one of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood, Pankaj Tripathi. He will reprise his role as advocate Madhav Mishra and like the previous two seasons, in this season, his character will be seen helping people getting justice.
His character Madhav Mishra is someone who always stands for what is right, no matter what. He believes in uplifting and supporting the weaker section of society. Along with Pankaj Tripahti, the series also stars Mirzapur fame Vikrant Massey, who will reprise his role asAditya Sharma, Anupriya Goenka as Nikhat Hussain, Mita Vashisht as Mandira Mathur.
Similarly, Anupriya Goenka and Mita Vashisht are reprising their roles as Nikhat Hussain and Mandira Mathur, respectively. It will star Pankaj Saraswat, Rucha Inamdar, Madhurima Roy and Sarah Gesawat in pivotal roles.

About the Series
The series is backed by Applause Entertainment, which has also produced acclaimed web-shows such as Hostages, Bhaukaal, Scam 1992 and more. The season 3 will focus on India’s Juvenile judicial and jail system within a storyline that explores the stresses of modern Urban relationships.
On August 3, 2022, Disney+Hotstar dropped a 34-second short video clip, in which we see Pankaj Tripathi’s character back to his work to help people seeking justice. As per video, in season 3, Advocate Mishra is going to solve the toughest case of his career.
The teaser starts with a lady, whose face is kept secret, knocking the door of Tripathi’s character. She introduces herself as Avantika Ahuja and asks for his help, popular actor Pankaj Tripathi’s presence creating buzz:
