On 23rd November 2022, occasion of Naga Chaitanya’s birthday, #NC22 title ‘Custody’ got revealed, first look poster shows that a cop stopped and surrounded by armed mens who are also in police uniform.
Renowned South Indian actor-filmmaker Venkat Prabhu directs a bilingual action flick. NC22 is the 22nd film of promising Telugu actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, who recently made his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s much-hyped film Laal Singh Chaddha, a remake of the 1994 film Forrest Grump, which won six Academy Awards but LSC failed to recreate this magic.
Custody Release Date
The film’s shoot began on September 21, 2022 and it was announced by the film’s maker via a poster featuring Naga Chaitanya dressed up as a cop. Theatrical release date ’12 May 2023′ locked for this film.

Custody Star Cast
The film stars Naga Chaitanya in the lead role, who is excited to give his all to his first bilingual as well as Tamil film. Chay has collaborated for the first time with the acclaimed Kollywood director. The first time in his career, he will be seen in the role of a cop too.
Custody actress Krithi Shetty as Chay’s love interest and it is the second time the duo have been collaborating with each other after the supernatural action thriller film Bangarraju, which was released in Sankranthi 2022.
The film’s makers have come up with an ensemble star cast, the National Award winning actress Priyamani is onboard to play a key role. Other than that, versatile actors like Sampath Raj, Premgi Amaren and Vennela Kishore have also been roped into the film.

The film is bankrolled by producer Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of his Srinivasaa Silver Screen, the production house which has also backed the movies like U Turn, Seetimaarr, Black Rose and The Warriorr.
Music maestro Ilaiyaraaj and Yuvan Shankar Raja are composing the music and background score of this most-awaited action entertainer. The film has a talented team of craftsmen which includes S.R. Kathir ISC as cinematographer, Venkat Rajen as the editor, DY Satyanarayan as the Art Director and supremely talented Yannick Ben and Mahesh Mathew as Art Directors.
