Cuttputlli is a Hindi film which is the remake of 2018’s blockbuster Tamil psychological thriller drama film Ratsasan which starred Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead roles.
The film was previously titled as Mission Cinderella but now the makers of the film has retitled it as Cuttputlli, which is helmed by Ranjit M. Tewari, who made his directorial debut with 2017 movie “Lucknow Central”.
The screenplay and dialogues of the film are written by Aseem Arrora whereas Rajeev Ravi has cranked the camera for it. The shooting of the film was already complete in February this year and now it is under post-producing work.
The makers of the film on Thursday, August 18, 2022, dropped the motion poster of the film revealing the new title for the movie. It gives us the spooky vibes. The video opens to a gift box that springs open to the title revelation. The music in the backdrop gives the spooky vibes.
Cuttputlli OTT Release Date
Cuttputlli is presented by Disney+Hotstar skipped the theatre release to have the streaming on the platform. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Entertainment under their banner Pooja Entertainment.
It is the 41st production venture of the production house as well as its second film to be released directly on OTT following Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1.

Cuttputlli Star Cast
The film stars Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar in the lead role. His most recent release is the family entertainer film Raksha Bandhan, which was theatrically released on the occasion of Hindu festival Rakshabandhan on August 11, 2022 which despite receiving a lot of praises from Public and critics, couldn’t perform well at Box Office.
Actress Rahul Preet Singh, who was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s thriller film Runway 34 alongside Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani, will play the female lead in the film. Actress Shagun Mehta is also said to be cast to play a prominent role in the film.

About the Film & Official Trailer
The story of the film revolves around an aspiring film director who wants to make a movie on psychopaths, but after facing rejection multiple times, he gives up on his dreams and becomes a Police officer in family pressure.
