Popular Telugu dance reality show, Dance Ikon has finally come to an end after having a successful run for around 2.5 months. It has been one of the top-rated Telugu shows on the streaming platform Aha.
It has given a grand stage to dance enthusiasts around the country to showcase their talent in front of the nation. The first eseason of the Telugu dance reality show was hosted and produced by popular TV presenter Ohmkar under his Oak Entertainment banner.
The show started airing on Gemini TV on September 6, 2022, with a grand launch episode. Since then, it has been airing on the platform every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. on Gemini TV and Aha (online) until November 27.

Dance Ikon Finalists
Dance Ikon had noted dance personalities and choreographers Sreemukhi, Monal Gajjar, and Yashwant Master as the mentors of the show, whereas Baahubali fame Ramya Krishnan and choreographer Yashwant Master were members of the jury.
There were the top six contestants in this season of Dance Ikon, out of which the top six qualified for the finals. The top six dancers and choreographers were:
- Dhanshree and Aryan
- Florina and Priyanka
- Tron Brothers and Krishna
- Arundhati and Sanket
- Saumya and Govind
- Asif and Raju
Asif Clinches Dance Ikon Season 1 Trophy
The show, which ran for almost 10–11 weeks, finally got its winner in the grand finale episode that premiered on Sunday, November 27. Season 1 of Dance Ikon has won by Team Sreemukhi’s Asif and his dancer partner (choreographer) K. Sakethraju aka Raju.

On the other side, Saumya Kamble, who had been among the top favourites throughout Dance Ikon Season 1, ended up as the runner-up of the show along with her choreographer Govind.
Dance Ikon Season 1 Winner’s Prize Money
Along with the winning trophy, winner Asif and his choreographer Sakethraju were also awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20 lakh rupees. Popular Telugu producer Allu Aravind came to the stage to present the cheque of Rs. 20 lakh to the winners.
Also, both Asif and Raju were honoured with a certificate of Dance Ikon winner, signed by Ohmkar. Saumy and Govind were also awarded a runner-up trophy and certificates.
