Directed and written by critically acclaimed Marathi filmmaker Gajendra Ahire, Dear Molly is an upcoming trilingual film that is simultaneously shot in Hindi, English and Marathi.
Ahire has over 50 movies to his credit in all of which he has contributed as director, screenwriter, dialogues and lyrics. He won the National award for the Best Feature Film in Marathi for Shevri and Not Only Mrs. Raut.
Along with Dear Molly, the director is all helming Anupam Kher and Mahima Chaudhry starrer The Signature, which is currently being shot.
Dear Molly Release Date
Today, on June 16, the makers of the film have revealed its release date. The Gajendra Ahire directorial is all set to be released in three languages Hindi, English and Marathi, simultaneously on July 1, 2022.

It is one of the biggest projects of the National award-winning filmmaker and writer and is presented by Manmohan Shetty and Ganesh Jain. Before releasing on such a big scale, the film had also done festival rounds. It was also selected for the screening in the mainstream event of the prestigious Oscar Awards in Los Angeles, USA back in December 2018.

Dear Molly Star Cast
Dear Molly stars model-turned-actress Gurbani Gill as the main protagonist Molly who is in search of his missing father. The film marks the acting debut alongside well-known Marathi actors Alok Rajwade, Mrinmayee Godbole, Ashwini Giri. It is an Indo- Swedish collaboration that also features prominent Swedish star- cast Lia Boysen and Chris Holmgren in pivotal roles.
About the Film
Produced by Praveen Nischol and Ratan Jain, Dear Molly is a poignant story that is based on a father and daughter relationship. It will explore the journey of a daughter in search of her father, whom she saw last when she was five year old. The film was extensively shot in Stockholm, Sweden with some minor portions shot in and around Maharashtra.
