Directed by Razneesh Ghai, ‘Dhaakad’ is a story of a ferocious and strong international spy, who lands on an action-filled adventure with flaming guns. The movie stars Kangana in a full-on action-packed role.
The movie is written by Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra, it is an action-thriller, jointly produced by Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum Films and co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media. This is screenwriter Ritesh Shah’s first alliance with Kangana Ranaut.
An interesting fact about Dhaakad is that Kangana had undergone 3 months of extensive training for the role of spy officer Agent Agni. She will be seen in an avatar that was never seen before. Though earlier she has been a part of action movies like Krish 3, Rangoon, and Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi, ‘Dhaakad’ is a step ahead of them.

On the day of Dhaakad’s wrap-up, Kangana said that her character will live in her beyond the film. The actress announced the date on social media along with a new poster. The movie also features Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta, which was scheduled to release on October 1, 2021, but postponed later to 27 th May , now final date is 20 May.
The OTT releases date of the Dhaakad & platform is not finalized yet, currently, Kangana’s Thalaivi is available on the OTT platform. We expect the same will occur with the movie Dhaakad after its theater release.
The movie focuses on the female protagonist Kangana Ranaut as an international spy. Her role is that of Agent Agni in Dhaakad, which she said is ‘India’s first female-led action thriller’. Arjun Rampal plays the role of a villain, Rudraveer. The movie also features Divya Dutta and Mahaakshay Chakraborty.

Both the trailers of the film give you the Hollywood vibe, let’s see if it succeeds to translate into the big Bollywood success or not, we hope so it does as it is a one-of-a-kind woman-oriented action thriller which had never been witnessed before.

Rajneesh Ghai aka Razy’s directorial action espionage thriller’s trailer 2 is out now the close to two and half minute trailer shows more brutal action sequences than the earlier one. Kudos to the makers for making a woman-centric film and who would be better to fit in the role than Kangana? the actor par excellence has done a phenomenal job along with Arjun and Divya Dutta the former with the blend of his urban style and desi lingo coerces the viewer to sit on the edge of the seat.
