Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is set to be back on the big screen with his upcoming action entertainer Dhamaka. It is written and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, known for his films Cinema Choopistha Mava and Nenu Local.
The shooting of the film started in October 2021, and action sequences were shot in Hyderabad. The makers also shot a song in Spain’s Plaza de Espana in March 2022. Raam Ravipati is the co-director of the film.
Dhamaka Star Cast
Ravi Teja is known for doing films in the action genre, and Dhamaka is his third action film of 2022, following Khiladi and Ramarao On Duty. Apart from Dhamaka, he has many projects in pipeline, including Waltair Veerayya, Ravanasura, and Tiger Nageswara Rao.
His most recent release, Ramarao On Duty, despite creating a lot of buzz, turned out to be a disaster at the box-office. With Dhamaka, the actor has expectations to end the drought as his last two films didn’t do well.
The film stars Sreeleela of “Pelli SandaD” as Ravi Teja’s love interest, Pranavi. It also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh, Chirag Jani, Ali, Praveen, Hyper Adi, Pavithra Lokesh, Tulasi, and Rajshree Nair in pivotal roles.
Technical Crew
The film, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibolta under the banner of People Media Factory LLP, has the story, screenplay and dialogues penned by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada.
Karthik Gattamneni has cranked the camera for the film, whereas Prawin Pudi is handling the editing work. Dhamaka’s music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, whereas the lyrics are penned by Ramajogayaa Sastry, Kasarla Shyam, and Suddala Ashok Teja.
Dhamaka Release Date
The teaser for Dhamaka has been released and it confirms that the movie is full of action sequences but has little punches of comedy every now and then.
The one-minute long teaser starts with Ravi Teja holding a bike’s silencer as a weapon and looking dashing in his goggles. It further shows goons running scared for their lives as Ravi Teja’s character beats team blue and black.
The diagnoses in the film do not fail to impress the audience. Overall, it is going to be a typical Ravi Teja film with high-octane action sequences and a dose of comedy.
Along with releasing the teaser, the makers also revealed the release date of the film on the occasion of Diwali. Dhamaka is set to have a grand theatrical release on December 23, 2022 and apart from Telugu, it will also released in dubbed Hindi version clash with Ranveer Singh’s cirkus.
