As per the Telugu trade circle reports, Dhamaka collected Rs 9 crore gross at the box office worldwide on its opening day. It accumulated 7.60 Cr gross (Rs 4.50 Cr shares) in the Telugu states (AP-TG) including 14L hires.
Dhamaka Needs 14 Cr to Break Even
The theatrical rights of Dhamaka were sold at 18.30 crores, therefore Ravi Teja’s film needs to recover 19 crores shares to become a box office success. With the first-day earnings, Dhamaka now needs to earn 13.90 Cr shares more to become a Hit. The film needs to sustain the momentum over Sat and Sun to complete the break-even target and emerge as a hit at the box office.

Ravi Teja’s energy is worth praising, and Sree Leela, the female lead, also deserves appreciation for her role. The weak points are its same-old concept and predictable storyline, but we can say the performances of the leading stars, the dialogue delivery, and the punchlines have made it a worst-watching comedy entertainer.
