The web series is an incarnation of the bestseller novel Those Pricey Thakur Girls by Anuja Chauhan and portrays the Thakur family in a fight to leave their past behind and look forward to a brighter future.
The story revolves around the daily life of the Thakur girls and the ideological conflicts of every family member and how they handle the situation amid the socio-economic changes in society, with the family dancing to the tunes of RD Burman, Nazia Haasan, and Hum Log.

Disney + Hotstar took to its official website on November 8, to release the official teaser of the interesting web series. By the looks of it, we can clearly make out that this is going to be a daily dose of the Thakur family, where we will get to know every inch of their daily life.
The Thakur girls are especially seen to be the central focus of the whole series, and not to forget the subtle picturization of the colonial Delhi of the 80s.
