Directed and written by Adam Shankman, Disenchanted is an upcoming live action animated musical fantasy film which serves as the sequel of 2007 film Enchanted, which received critical acclaim and earned more than $340 million worldwide at box-office. Also, it received nominations as well as awards in many prestigious award events.
In March 202o, the upcoming sequel entered pre-production work, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the work was being done remotely. The same year in December, on Disney Investor Day, Disney Studios’ President of Production Sean Bailey officially announced the film.

With this upcoming sequel, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartzr return as songwriters, and Menken again composes the score. The lead actress Adam is also serving as the producer of the film along with Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnefeld.
Disenchanted OTT Release Date
It is now confirmed that the Disney Original film will be released on Disney Plus on November 18, 2022, which falls on Thanksgiving, 15 years after the release of Enchanted.

Disenchanted Trailer
Disney Plus has released the trailer of Disenchanted at its fan fest, D23 Expo 2022, which is being held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, United States.
Set 15 years after the events of Enchanted, it shows Giselle, Robert and Morgan move to a new house in the suburb of Monroeville. The community is overseen by Malvina Monroe, who has nefarious intentions for the family.When problems arise, Giselle wishes that their lives were the perfect fairy tale. The spell backfires, with Giselle rushing to save her family and her homeland of the kingdom of Andalasia before the clock strikes midnight.
