The global OTT king Netflix is set to come up with its upcoming dark comedy film titled Do Revenge directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, best known for creating the MTV show Sweet/Vicious, Netflix’s 2019 romantic drama film Someone Great and co-writing Marvel Studios’s Thor: Love and Thunder.
Robinson also co-wrote the film alongside Celeste Ballard. The plot of the film is inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s 1951 American psychological thriller film Strangers on a Train.
Do Revenge Star Cast
The film stars actresses Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke as Drea Torres and Eleanor, respectively. Mendes is known for portraying Veronica Lodge on The CW teen drama series Riverdale for which she won the Teen Choice Award for Choice Scene Stealer in 2017. Apart from that, she also appeared in films such as The New Romantic, The Perfect Date, Dangerous Lies, and the critically acclaimed Palm Springs.
On the other hand, Hawke is known for her role in Netflix Science fiction series Stranger Things. She also played supporting roles in the films Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Human Capital, Mainstream and Fear Street Part One: 1994.
Apart from these two actresses, the film also stars Rish Shah as Russ Lee, Sophie Turner, Austin Abrams as Max, Eliza Bennett as Jessica, Alisha Boe as Tara, Talia Ryder as Gabbi, Paris Berelc as Meghan, Jonathan Daviss as Elliot, Maia Reficco as Montana and Ava Capri as Carissa.

Do Revenge OTT Release Date & Trailer
Produced by Anthony Bregman, Peter Cron along with Robinson under the banner of Likely Story, the film is all set to have a direct to OTT premiere on Netflix. September 16, 2022 has been confirmed as the official release date of the film by Netflix.

About the Film
Inspired by high school revenge dramas like Jawbreaker, Cruel Intentions and 10 Things I Hate About You, the dark comedy follows Eleanor and Drea, two students who team up to get revenge on their bullies. Drea’s revenge is hones in on her ex-boyfriend, who leaked their sex tape, where Eleanor is focused on a girl that outed her by starting a rumour that she forcibly kissed her.
