Surpasses Shabaash Mitthu’s Lifetime
Taapsee Pannu’s Shabaash Mitthu had a lackluster start at the box office with earnings below half a crore. The opening weekend of the film was dull as well, as it failed to go past even 2 crores. It was the most expensive film of Taapsee’s career, which is based on the life of former Indian captain Mithali Raj.
In its entire theatrical run “Shabhaash Mitthu” managed to earn only Rs 2.23 crores and emerged as the worst performer of the actor’s career after Running Shaadi and Dil Junglee, domestically.
