The highly anticipated film of the year Doctor Strange 2 has finally been released on the big screens this Friday, the film created much curiosity among the cinephiles with Marvel’s last outing Tom Holland’s Spiderman as Strange being one of the significant parts of the film.
Spiderman: NWH was released last year in Dec, it came at the box office in a beast mode and went on to become the all-time 6th highest-grossing film with an overall collection of 1.89 billion dollars (INR 14513 crores approx).
A similar kind of expectation was being kept from Doctor Strange 2 as the film had outstanding advance bookings globally, in India the craze for the superhero film was also looking another level.

BOC Opening Day (Early Estimation)
We had estimated that -“Sam Raimi’s directorial has already minted Rs 20 crores for day 1 through advance bookings and it will collect around Rs 5 to 10 crores through spot bookings also, so it seems that Doctor Strange will be going to enjoy a Rs 30 Cr opening day at the box office India.”
“As per our early estimation, it will collect in the range of Rs 25-30 crores** on Day 1, though the film has the potential to break the record of Spiderman: NWH, as far as the advance bookings and the positive reviews for the film are concerned.”
As we have projected that the Benedict starrer will rake in between Rs 250 to Rs 30 crores and it fetched the amount Rs 27.50 Crs, it collected most from the south especially from Nizam/Ceeded area, followed by Tamil, as they have been the major market for Hollywood flicks.
