Gear up as the cinematic brilliance Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness to hit the theatres soon, it is the fifth film of the Marvel phase 4 and overall the 28th installment in the MCU(Marvel Cinematic Universe) franchise. It is set after the events of the recently released film and Web Series Spiderman: No Way Home and Loki respectively.
DSIMM is helmed by Toby Maguire starrer Spiderman Trilogy’s director Sam Raimi and backed by Kevin Feige and made under the banner of Marvel Studios.

Four days ahead of the release, Benedict starrer had a world premiere at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, soon after the conclusion of the WP, the social media platforms were filled with reviews, many critics also took to Twitter and gave rave reviews to the film. Critics praised hugely the director Sam Raimi for his narration, it is being said that the film is one of the scariest and most terrifying films of MCU.

Doctor Strange Release Date in India
The shooting of the film began in Nov 2020, owing to the covid-19, the production went on&off, the reshoots of the film were finally completed in Dec 2021, and reportedly the post-production was completed in March 2022.
The world premiere of the film will take place on 2 May 2022, and it is all set to hit the cinemas worldwide on 6 May 2022 including the home market U.S.
The film will release in India on the same date(May 6) in 5 Indian languages Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam with the original version English also.

Star Cast of Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness
- Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role from the 2016 film Doctor Strange as Dr. Stephen Strange and if reports are true then Benedict is seen in a movie portraying an alternate version of Dr. Strange.
- British Actor Benedict Wong will be seen playing Wong, Dr. Strange friend.
- The Notebook fame Rachel McAdams essaying the role of Dr’s love interest as Dr. Christine Palmer, she herself a doctor.
- Nigerian-British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor is playing the antagonist in the film as Karl Mordo, he earlier was Strange’s friend later turned into an enemy
- Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch
- Xochitl Gomez (America Chavez) and Michael Stuhlbarg (Nicodemus West) are also playing significant roles in the film.

Makers had unveiled the teaser of DSIMM on social media platforms and were well received by the viewers. On youtube, the trailer was uploaded on 22 Dec with the caption “The Multiverse is a Concept About which We Know Frighteningly Little” the teaser crossed 2 crores plus views in just 5 days.

The cinematography is handled by the academy award nominee X-Men: First Class and Logan fame John Matiesona and the Editing is done by the Oscar Winner Spiderman Trilogy (2002-2007) and The Hurt Locker(2008) fame Bob Murawski.
Jade Halley Barlett and Michael Waldron are the screenplay writers and the distributors are Walt Disney Studios and Motion Pictures, Music is given by four-time academy award nominee Danny Elfman.
