Directed by Olivia Wilde, Don’t Worry Darling is an upcoming American psychological thriller film. It was announced in 2019 and is a second directorial project of Wilde after 2019 teen comedy Booksmart, for which she won the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature.
Filming began in Los Angeles in October 2020 and was temporarily halted for two weeks following after a crew member tested positive COVID-19. It wrapped up on February 13, 2021. The original spec script was written by the brothers Carey and Shane Van Dyke with the screenplay of Katie Silberman.

Actor and Singer Harry Styles is playing the male lead in the film as Jack Chambers, a workaholic man. Harry is the part of popular pop boy band, One direction, along with Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson. Previously Zayn Malik was also part of the band until his departure from the band in March 2015.
Harry also appeared in concert films One Direction: This Is Us and One Direction: Where We Are and feature films Dunkirk and Eternals. Actress Florence Pugh is playing as Jack’s wife, Alice Chambers.
The film’s director Olivia Wilde is playing Alice’s best friend Bunny. Additionally, it also features Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, Chris Pine, Sydney Chandler, Kate Berlant, Asif Ali, Douglas Smith, Timothy Simons, Ari’el Stachel, Dita Von Teese, Marcello Julian Reyes and Mariah Justice.
Don’t Worry Darling Release Date in India
The film produced by Wilde, Silberman, Miri Yoon and Roy Lee under the banners of New Line Cinemas and Vertigo Entertainment is set to schedule to premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival (which is going to held from August 31 to September 10, 2022) before its theater release.
After its premiere there, the film will be released theatrically on September 23, 2022 in the United States of America. In India, the film will have its theater-release a week after its USA release, on September 30, 2022. The ticket will soon be available on BookMyShow.

The trailer of the film follows Florence Pugh and Jack Chambers, a young and happy couple living in the seemingly perfect Company Town of Victory, California, during the 1950s, which is created and paid for by the mysterious company Jack is working for.
Curiosity about the nature of her husband’s working on the secret “Victory Project” begins to consume Alice which leads to cracks in their happy life as Alice raises tensions within the community during her investigation of the project.
