Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha starrer slice-of-life film Double XL released in theatres inn Nov 2022. The film is directed by Satram Ramani, known for his work in movies like Bodyguard, Helmet and Ready.

About the Film
The film was released theatrically on November 4, 2022, worldwide. Produced by big banner T-Series, Double XL follows the life of two plus size women: Rajshree Trivedi, a sports presenter from Meerut, and Saira Khanna, a fashion designer from Delhi.
Apart from them, the film also stars South Indian actor Mahat Raghavendra as Tamilian fellow Srikanth and Sonakshi Sinha’s rumoured boyfriend and actor, Zaheer Iqbal who have played Zorawar, a former London based gofer.

The film, written by Sasha Singh and Mudassar Aziz and jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, Vipul D. Shah, Rajesh Bahl, Ashwin Varde, Saquib Saleem, Huma Qureshi, and Mudassar Aziz, opened to mixed responses from critics and audiences.
Made on a budget of around Rs. 15–18 crore, the film took a Rs. 50–80 lakh start on its opening day. A strong word-of-mouth didn’t work and it’s a Box Office failure.
